Living from the Heart

Last night I listened to a teleconference about the Mayan calender www.thefourwinds.com
and that we are moving into the "6th day" on November 13, 2008. Although I do not know much about the Mayan Calender, what she did say was that we will be moving into a time where we live from our hearts. All of our actions and words will come from the heart.

In 2000 and again in 2001I had the opportunity to visit Egypt. Both trips made no sense logically they both were from my hearts calling. While in Egypt if anyone asked my opinion I always replied "What's in your Heart?" "Come from that place and you can never go wrong." Returning to Canada I did not find it near as easy to live in my heart. After all I had a lifetime of learning of how to show up in this world. I came to realize that in order to live from the heart I had to abandon all that I knew, all the previous programming and beliefs I held. Not an easy challenge. Every year I began to abandoned more of who I had been and I lived a little more from my heart.

The greatest challenge in living from the heart is that the programming in our minds does not match the heart. So even though I am aware my heart says to do something I do not do it as my mind wins. It is like a constant battle. How do I trust my heart when up until now I have used my mind to create life. After all there are rules to this game of life that must be followed, that involves my mind. I have now come to realize I can no longer even try to fit into the life my mind/ my previous programming would create. I must find a way to step fully into my heart and come from that place in all I do.

The Heart knows not fear, for it does not exist there. It is only our mind that creates fear. Our whole lives we have been programed to live in the mind. And hence to live in fear. It is this fear that paralyzes us now. Living from the heart is like re-learning how to live. When we step fully into our own truth there will be no fear. The world will change completely and we will live in peace.
